Four plasters. One material.
Lithos — from the Greek for stone — is the founding collection of Claywise. Each grade is drawn from the same natural clays, refined to a different character — from raw and sculptural to fine and luminous. Together they form a complete language of natural surface, shown here on the projects that carry them.
Cruda
The honest, unpolished surface of the earth itself. Cruda carries the movement of the hand that placed it — quiet, raw and true to the ground it came from.
Terra
Warm, balanced surfaces with a soft matte depth — the grade we reach for most. Terra reads calm in daylight and warmer again by lamplight, grounding a room without ever asking for attention.
Lumen
The finest-graded of the four — a smooth, luminous surface with a silk-like depth that carries light softly across a room. Lumen is where most people who think they know clay change their mind about it.
Earth Plaster
Large natural aggregates and a deep, sculptural texture — a strong finish with real presence, for walls that are meant to be felt as much as seen. Layered in earthen tones, it carries the strata of rammed earth at just 8–10 millimetres, as it does at JLL’s Sydney headquarters.
